What is the Greater Raleigh Chamber of
Commerce?
The Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is the Triangle's largest business
membership organization — made up of more than 2,400 member firms representing
two-thirds of the private sector employment in Wake County. The Chamber has
represented the interests of the local business community since 1888.
The mission of the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce is to sustain and
further develop a thriving economy and to enhance our community's quality of
life. To achieve this, the Chamber divides its work into three main lines of
business — each with an eye toward economic expansion and a better quality of
life. In simple business terms, those three lines are product sales (Economic
Development), product development (Government Affairs/Public Policy), and
membership services (Membership Services and Small Business.)

How much does it cost to join the Greater
Raleigh Chamber of Commerce?
The Chamber's Fair Share Investment Formula calculates each member's dues to
correlate with the company's investment in the community, usually based on
employment in Wake, Durham, and Orange counties. For more information, call
