Time to start directing traffic
Transportation is a crucial lever in our region's effectiveness -- directly impacting our talent attraction and retention, freight movement, overall economic vitality, and quality of life. A robust highway, transit, and air service system is critical for our future. You can be a part of that future by attending The State of Mobility 2008 luncheon on Dec. 9 in Cary.
Once a year, the region gathers for a must-attend event that takes the pulse of our transportation system today and offers a prognosis for where we are headed tomorrow. The State of Mobility 2008, an annual event presented by the Regional Transportation Alliance, brings together business leaders, elected officials and transportation partners with one goal in mind -- a frank assessment of how we get around in the Triangle.
Alliance executive director Joe Milazzo II and Triangle Transit general manager David King will offer insights into the health of our region's mobility and share plans to keep us in top transportation shape in the future.
If you are already a Regional Transportation Alliance member, you know how critical the Alliance is in keeping the Triangle's transportation system moving forward. If you have not yet joined the Alliance, this event is a great way to learn more about our mobility initiatives and network with the region's business leadership for mobility.
The State of Mobility 2008 will be held Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Embassy Suites Raleigh-Durham/Research Triangle, 201 Harrison Oaks Blvd., Cary.
