Newly Elected Officials Breakfast
Following the 2024 elections, we provide an opportunity to meet newly elected members of the U.S. Congress and the N.C. General Assembly representing our region as they begin the work of creating policy that impacts business and quality of life across the state and country.
First Responders Appreciation Breakfast
This event provides an opportunity for the business community to show appreciation for our local first responders. Our program includes a keynote presentation and awards to heroes from each department for outstanding service in the previous year. *A portion of the event proceeds will benefit The 200 Club of Wake County, a nonprofit that provides financial help for the spouses and children of local first responders who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

The region’s business and community leadership will welcome the newly inaugurated Governor of North Carolina and the Council of State. Attendees will meet the governor and those responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the executive branch of our state at a relaxed reception.

The newly created annual Day Trip provides members an opportunity to closely examine a specific, targeted project or policy that a municipality is implementing well. The trip provides a complete, interactive experience for travelers to see firsthand how other areas are tackling issues like ours.
