Signature Ten-Month ProgramLeadership Raleigh connects a diverse network of community leaders, providing enhanced leadership skills and knowledge of current issues, to foster meaningful and lasting engagement.
The core of Leadership Raleigh's programming is our signature ten-month, program. Participants have the opportunity to engage with local business executives, community leaders, and elected officials; learn about our community through unique tours and behind-the-scenes experiences; and participate in small group projects that explore critical community issues. Program participation each year is limited to two cohorts of up to 100 (50 per class) aspiring and experienced leaders from the private, nonprofit, and public sectors. All participants must apply to be considered for the program, demonstrate a passion for improving the community and a capacity to be a civic leader. Due to the depth and diversity of perspectives in the room, participants and speakers learn from each other, making it a truly unique and collaborative experience. With the benefit of new perspectives and connections, participants are prepared to serve more effectively in various leadership capacities across the region. |
ApplicantsThis program is invaluable for individuals seeking to build their understanding of our community’s greatest challenges, develop a robust network of cross-sector civic leaders, and build their own capacity to influence systemic change.
Please note the following:
Review Process: A committee reviews all applications and selects individuals who represent a broad cross-section of the community. The review committee considers thoroughness of responses, alignment with the program and a demonstrated desire to participate. |
