Learn what it takes to turn your talent into leadership skills that can propel you in your career—straight from the experts themselves. Emerging Leaders connects promising professionals with the area’s most successful executives for a unique and interactive program. This program will:
How it Works
The first session will introduce program participants to their classmates and includes a facilitated review of each person's StrengthFinder assessment.
Six planned discussions with community/business leaders at their places of business will follow. Topics range from career advancement/development to work/life balance challenges to areas for community involvement.
In the middle of the 2017 program, the two Emerging Leaders classes will come together for a tour of Raleigh’s hot spots of innovation followed by a social with past Emerging Leader participants.

Qualifications
- Have demonstrated career growth and have a minimum of seven years professional experience
- Be employed by an active member of the Greater Raleigh Chamber
- Have support from your organization
- Participate in orientation session and a minimum of four sessions
Dates
- Two classes will be selected each year
- Please indicate your preferred class (if any) when you submit your application.
- Class # 1 – TBD
- Class # 2 – Sept. 25, Oct. 16, Nov. 6, Nov. 27, and Dec. 18.
Details
- $1,000 per employee of member firms
- Space limited to 15 participants per class (two classes in 2017)
- Money due after acceptance into the program
