Learn what it takes to turn your talent and vision into leadership skills that can propel your career straight from the experts themselves. Emerging Leaders is designed to develop and expand the capacity of tomorrow’s leaders. Over 2.5 months, program participants are connected to the area’s most successful executives for a unique and interactive mentoring program. This program teaches the skills, tools, and habits used by the area’s most successful leaders.

Program Overview
Emerging Leaders will strengthen participant’s networks by connecting them with peers who share similar goals in a small group environment. Over the course of seven classes, participants will not only have time with local leaders but have a class dedicated to their Strengths Finders Assessment that aims to help understand your personal strengths and talents to achieve one’s greatest potential.
A few of the confirmed speakers for the first class cohort include: Jim Hansen, Regional President at PNC Bank, Billie Redmond, Founder of TradeMark Properties, Matt Chambers, Senior Director at Clancy & Theys Construction Company and Abha Bowers, CEO at Walk West.
Learning Objectives
Attending Emerging Leaders will provide you with:
- Effective leadership skills and strategies.
- An understanding of emerging local trends.
- Skills to enhance your leadership potential.
- Awareness of what it takes to lead and succeed.
Program Qualifications
- Have demonstrated career growth with a minimum of seven years of professional experience.
- Be employed by an active member of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce.
- Consent of immediate supervisor to participate.
- Participate in the Orientation and at least four of the class sessions.
