Women’s Leadership Conference Sneak Peek for Women’s History Month

​March is Women’s History Month and today, March 8, is International Women’s Day! We proudly honor the work that’s been done to advance gender equality and the resolute leadership of the women who continue to advance our community and organization! 

One such woman is Adrienne Cole, the first female President and CEO of the Raleigh Chamber in its 130+ year history! Her passion for making a difference in our community through economic development, diversity and inclusion, and small business and entrepreneurship has earned her several distinctions including the Triangle Business Journal's Women in Business Award and the CEO of the Year award.

The Raleigh Chamber is committed to helping women advance their careers. On May 24, the Chamber will host more amazing women in leadership at our annual Women’s Leadership Conference. The conference, presented by PNC, brings established business leaders who support women in the workplace. Attendees will receive tools, tactics, and inspiration to build a more equitable future in the workplace.

The theme is Connect-Challenge-Create.

Connect: Celebrate women’s achievements.

Challenge: Take action for equality.

Rebecca is a futurist, author, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of NEXT Generation Consulting and the author of The Next Big Things: The Future of Local Government (2015), ReGENERATION: A Manifesto for America’s Future Leaders (2013), and Live First, Work Second: Getting Inside the Head of the Next Generation.
