Hi Jan, thanks for your comment. Due to the speed of the legislative process on this issue, the Chamber has not had sufficient time to consider a formal policy position. We are now gathering feedback from our membership and leadership.

Put some teeth in it Tim. Hate has no place in North Carolina and those who were a party to this need to see your actions not just your words.

Thank you for speaking up on this Tim Guiliani. The Raleigh business community must be progressive and inclusive to retain talent and spur innovation. It's our brand!

Thank you for speaking up, Tim. The damage this ill-advised, discriminatory and likely unconstitutional move is having and will have on North Carolina's reputation and economic health is incalculable. I'm afraid we're only beginning to see the repercussions. As a business owner, citizen and human being, I am insulted, embarrassed and concerned for our economy. Let us hope cooler heads prevail in the months ahead or, at the very least, the next election.

Will you be encouraging your businesses to actively deny service to Republican legislators?

I love North Carolina its a beautiful state. Was wishing to relocate to retire. But after passing this bill I'm looking now to other States now. We are not to judge anyone that's the Lord work not ours.

Can someone explain to me, and possibly, Tim Guiliani, why HB2 is worse than the local city of Raleigh's ordinance # Sec 13-2015, which makes it unlawful for people of opposite sex to enter the bathroom of another sex?
